Facebook has asked the woman, who initials form the word 'ISIS', to send her identity proof before unblocking her five-year-old account.
Bristol resident ISIS Thomas had opened a Facebook account five years ago without any problems.
But when she tried to log in recently with the ID 'ISIS Warster', Facebook asked her to change her username. Accordingly, she changed it to ISIS Thomas.
However, Facebook refused to accept the changed username as well. Later, she was informed that the ISIS in her name was the problem.
Still, the woman appears determined to open the account without changing her initials. “I have no intention of changing my initials. Instead, Facebook should understand and believe that this is my real name,” she was quoted as saying by an online magazine.
