Cristiano Ronaldo hails from Portugal and continues to impress all with his exquisite football skills, thus justifying his tag of being one of the modern-day greats. While he is currently going good with Juventus, lack of European success could force him to move away from Turin.

Portuguese football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo continues to impress the globe with his sublime gameplay and goal-scoring skills. At the same time, he justifies his tag of being the modern-day great, alongside Argentina's Lionel Messi.

Currently, Ronaldo is playing for Italian champion Juventus, where he seems to be having a good time, especially domestically. However, the same cannot be said when it comes to European competitions.

Juventus was knocked out in the pre-quarters of the UEFA Champions League this season to FC Porto. Since then, Ronaldo has been linked to a move away from Turin, while some agencies have also reported that he could be eying a return to his former club and Spanish champion, Real Madrid.

However, as per some new reports, Ronaldo has already asked his agent Jorge Mendes to negotiate a return to Madrid. Ronaldo had an immensely successful tenure with Los Blancos, winning copious titles, including four UCL, while four of his five Ballon d'Ors came at Madrid.

However, Madrid is not the only club Ronaldo is eying a return to. In fact, he has reportedly asked Mendes to also negotiate for a return to his former childhood club and English giant Manchester United.

In case one remembers, Ronaldo's stint at Old Trafford gave him global recognition before Madrid came calling. Furthermore, United currently needs a prolific goal-scorer who could bolster its chances of winning titles, besides being one of the very few clubs in the world who could afford the Portuguese with a weekly pay of €600,000.

As Mendes will supposedly have a task at hand, it is being said that Ronaldo's first preference is likely to be Madrid, while Los Blancos is unlikely to shy away from a chance to re-sign him. However, provided a move to Madrid does not materialise, United is the next firm favourite.
