West Bengal records 3,872 new Covid-19 cases, 49 deaths in a day

The growing number of COVID cases in Kolkata on each day has become a cause of concern for the State Health Department. Although the recovery rate has touched 90 percent in West Bengal, 90 thousand people were infected with COVID-19 in Kolkata so far. The experts had warned earlier that this kind of situation may arise if people do not take necessary precautions. 

Although the recovery rate in the state has increased slightly, the number of deaths has not decreased in Kolkata. According to the State Health Bulletin on Wednesday (November 11), the number of people infected with COVID in a single day in Kolkata is 639. However, a total of 90,769 cases have been reported in Kolkata so far.
In a single day, 820 cases were reported in North 24 Parganas. Again, Kolkata is at the top of all other districts in terms of COVID cases. In West Bengal, 3,872 people were infected in a single day.

According to the State Health Bulletin on Wednesday (November 11), 49 deaths were reported in a single day in West Bengal. Out of the 49 deaths, 12 were from Kolkata and 14 from North 24 Parganas. A total of 7,452 deaths were reported in West Bengal.
According to the State Health Bulletin on Wednesday (November 11), 4,431 people have recovered in the state in a single day. However, a total of 3,76,696 people has recovered in the state so far. The recovery rate in the month of November is 90.34 percent.
Health department has already increased the number of COVID tests across the state. The number of total COVID tests per day has reached nearly 45,000 on an average basis.
