BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's office in the Nandigram area was vandalised by alleged TMC workers on Saturday (January 9) night. However, the TMC refuted the charges, claiming it to be a result of the BJP’s internal conflict.

The BJP has demanded the arrest of persons behind the incident. BJP leader Kaniska Panda said, “We protest against an incident caused by TMC workers in Nandigram. We told the administration if they won't take necessary steps then the administration will be responsible for the incidents which will happen in the future.”
