Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa has laid the foundation stones for two massive pilgrims’ complexes at Tirumala on Thursday (September 24). The Karnataka government is financing the construction of two massive pilgrim amenities, a complex and marriage hall at Tirumala. 

Tirumala: Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy jointly laid the foundation stones for two massive pilgrims complexes in Tirumala on Thursday morning.

The two complexes to be built by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams will be constructed at an estimated cost of about Rs 200 crore.

The Karnataka government is financing the construction of two massive pilgrim amenities, a complex and marriage hall at Tirumala for the benefit of devotees visiting the Holy Hills from Karnataka.

The state will soon be submitting a blueprint for the construction of the Rs 200 crore mega complexes to the TTD that governs the hill shrine.

Consequently, based on the designs, TTD would construct the complexes with the given fund and after completion, they would be handed over to the Karnataka government.
