Bengaluru church attacked by miscreants; altar, statues destroyed

St Francis of Assisi church in Karnataka's Bengaluru was allegedly attacked by unidentified miscreants on January 20. The miscreants desecrated the sanctum and threw away items used for Holy Communion

According to sources, the miscreants did not steal any valuables from the church

Following the incident, church authorities filed a complaint with Kengeri Police Station.
