TMC secretary-general Partha Chatterjee said to the Chief Election Commissioner that the BSF are visiting various villages in the border areas of the state and asking people to cast their votes in favour of a particular political party.

After discussing all the issues with the full bench of the Election Commission, Partha Chatterjee said, “We have informed the CEC and other ECI officials that the BSF is threatening voters in border areas. This is a dangerous situation and the ECI must look into it.”
