Will Aishwarya Rai, Salman Khan ever work together again? Here's what the actress has to say

When Aishwarya Rai was asked if she will ever work with Salman Khan; she said, "Working with Salman is out of the question."

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is currently busy with Mani Ratnam's Tamil historical drama “Ponniyin Selvan”. The team is now shooting in Hyderabad, and the film features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

Aishwarya's personal and professional lives are always in the news and get into the limelight. Sometimes it creates a stir in the entertainment field. Her alleged love story with Salman Khan is always grabbing headlines now and then.

In an interview, Aishwarya had alleged that Salman had physically and emotionally abused her, and she reportedly vouched that she would never work with Salman again.

Long back in 2004, when Aishwarya was promoting her first Hollywood film, Bride and Prejudice, that time there was a rumour that she would soon be seen in a movie featuring Salman Khan.

Furious with the reports, Aishwarya rubbished all the rumours and had told the media, "Working with Salman is out of the question. And you can quote me on that! When I issued that statement ending my association with him, I was in the hospital with a fractured foot."

She added, "I wrote that statement from my hospital bed where I had lots of time to think about what I was doing. I am not the kind of person who would reverse her decision to suit her purposes. The question of going back on my words just does not arise." This was the time when Aishwarya was injured on the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi's Khakee.

Aishwarya further added, "Come on! I let go of the chance of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali to stand by my convictions. Why would I change my mind for a lesser film?"
