Sara Ali Khan once opened up about her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's divorce and revealed why she stays with her mother, not with her father and Kareena Kapoor.
Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan, and now she is all set for her next release Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re featuring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
The movie was supposed to release in February this year, but all thanks to Coronavirus it got delay.
Sara talked about her personal life and relationship with Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Arora in an old interview. She had opened up about her parents' divorce, which happened in 2004.
In a chat show, Voot’s Feet Up With The Stars, Season 3, Sara said that Amrita and Saif weren't happy together, and the best decision was to part ways.
Sara said, "It’s very simple. If you see there are two options. Either live in the same house where no one is happy or live separately, where everyone is happy with their own lives, and you also get a different kind of love and warmth every time you meet.”
“I have a father too who is always available on the phone, and I can meet him whenever I want. I don’t think they were happy together ultimately, so I guess to separate was the best decision to make at the time," said Sara.
The Simmba actress Saif and Amrita are happy in their world. “All of us are much happier than we would have been for sure. So, everything happens for a reason," Sara said.
We have seen Sara has a very warm and good relationship with Kareena Kapoor and her kids. They are often seen celebrating festivals together, and recently the whole family posed to wish their fans Eid.
