Many Pakistanis believe that Nick Jonas tied the knot in the wrong country. They posted nasty comments.

Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has been making headlines for lashing out at trolls who remarked on the colour of her bra on her Independence Day Instagram post. The actress was seen donning a white embroidered kurta and holding the flag of Pakistan.

She later slammed trolls calling them sick. "Literally sickened seeing some of the comments under this post. The perverts debating the colour of my bra just shows how sick and petty their minds are. Black, grey, green it's none of your effing business! For Gods sake grow up-no wonder the society is in the mess that it is!" she wrote.

A few years ago, she grabbed headlines in India when she posted a picture with Priyanka Chopra's husband Nick Jonas at the US Open's Men's Semi-Final match between Rafael Nadal and Matteo Berrettini at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.

Mehwish wrote, "Guess who I ran into at the US Open Men's Semi Finals in New York! One thing we both agreed on was that we were both rooting for @rafaelnadal !@nickjonas @usopen @emirates."

Her post garnered mean comments targeting Nick Jonas' actress-wife Priyanka Chopra. A few Pakistani fans said that the pop singer married in the wrong country. One wrote, "He must be thinking he married in the wrong country," another user penned, "Ask him is Priyanka done venting." Another user wrote "And when he got home, Priyanka vented to him ‘are you done embarrassing yourself’.”

A few years back, Mehwish reportedly accused Priyanka Chopra of "encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan". In the piece written for CNN, Mehwish said, Priyanka should not be using her voice to legitimise a regime opposed to the values she claims to represent.

She had accused Priyanka of encouraging war despite being goodwill brand ambassador of the UN. On February 26, 2019, Priyanka took to Twitter to congratulate the Indian Air Force after Indian fighter jets attacked the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM)'s terrorist camp at Balakot in Pakistan. "Jai Hind #IndianArmedForces," Priyanka's tweet read.

Actress Mehwish has earlier in the news slamming Bollywood and Hollywood films to stop stereotyping her country and showing a negative image of them through movies.
