Urfi aka Uorfi Javed, will appear at the Bandra Police Station as a complaint was filed against the actress for wearing 'objectionable clothes’ in public
Urfi Javed's name is frequently mentioned in the news. The social media phenomenon is recognised for her daring and unconventional dress choices. She has gotten countless compliments on her clothes, with renowned designers eager to collaborate with the actor.
While many people applaud and appreciate her clothes, others find it distasteful, and in extreme circumstances, unlawful.
According to the Times of India, a police complaint has been filed against Uorfi Javed for her apparel at the Bandra police station. Uorfi will appear at a hearing for this complaint on Monday.
This is not the first time Uorfi has been the subject of a police investigation. There have been at least two police complaints made against her in the last year. A complaint was made against her in December 2022 for 'obscene behaviour in public and on social media'.
In January of this year, another complaint was lodged against her for wearing "objectionable clothing." Uorfi was also said to have been questioned for around two hours at the Amboli police station in connection with this complaint.
None of the previous police complaints submitted against Uorfi were judged to be sufficiently solid, as nothing linked to clothes constitutes a penal offence under the law. More information about the new lawsuit will be presented at the hearing on Monday.
During earlier complaints, Uorfi stated that there are greater and more urgent issues in society that need to be addressed than someone's clothes. Fans will be waiting and watching to see how Uorfi triumphs once more.
