According to the reports by Zoom, Aaliya has filed the written complaint in Versova police station. She has accused the actor of rape and cheating. The complaint has been registered by the police and an FIR is underway.

Aaliya had openely spoken about her rough and sour relatiionship with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

In an interview with BollywoodLife she also spoke how her brother-in-law Shamas Siddiqui had hit her once, she was quoted saying, “He (Nawaz) had never raised his hands on me, but the shouting and arguments had become unbearable. You could say though that only that was left. Yes, but his family has mentally and physically tortured me a lot. His brother had even hit me. His mother and brothers and sisters-in-law used to stay with us only in Mumbai."

After this Shamas had filed a complaint against her of fraud and criminal beach of trust before DCP of Mumbai's ZONE 9 and also a criminal defamation case at the Magistrate Court.
In an interview with SpotboyE, when asked about the complaint she was quoted saying, "I don't even have an idea about the case he is talking about. Have come to know about it from you. He is a fraud person and you really think he is capable of giving 2-3 crores to someone."

"He is just a manager. And let me tell you he is just doing all these things to counter my case. And if he is saying that hundreds of emails have been exchanged, please tell him to prove it. In fact, I have filed a complaint against him and he is doing all this out of that rage," she added.
