Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan’s love story: Here's how Khan fell in love with the diva

On Arbaaz Khan's birthday, we will talk about how he fell in love with Malaika Arora and where they first met.

Bollywood actor-turned-director Arbaaz Khan turned 54 today (August 04). Arbaaz Khan made his debut in Bollywood in the 1996 film Daraar featured Juni Chawala and Rishi Kapoor. For his performance in the film, he won the Filmfare Best Villain Award.
 

Later he was featured in numerous multi-starrer hit movies, for example, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998) and Garv: Pride and Honor (2004), where he acted opposite his brother Salman Khan. 
 

However, he was not successful as his brother Salman Khan in acting, so in 2010, he became a filmmaker and produced Dabangg featuring Salman Khan. In his own production house named ‘Arbaaz Khan Productions.’  Dabangg turned out to be a super hit, and he later made Dabangg 2, 3.
 

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora are the most loved couples in Bollywood; however, they got divorced after 17 years of marriage. Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married in Christian and Muslim traditions on December 12, 1998. 
 

After 4 years of their marriage, the couple was blessed with a baby boy Arhaan in 2002. And in 2017, their divorce, but the two remain on cordial terms and co-parent their son, Arhaan. Coming back to their love story, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika met for the first time to shoot for a coffee brand where they had to engage in a passionate romance.
 

Their onscreen chemistry had always grabbed the limelight and made them one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. From performing in music albums to hosting award functions or to featuring in TV ads they were seen everywhere.
 

Their most-watched ad was the MR Coffee advertisement. Malaika and Arbaaz went bold in the ad, where they had to make love onscreen. The tagline of the product was 'real pleasure can't come in an instant'.
 

Even though their marriage ended on a bitter note, Arbaaz still recommends marriage to others, "Of course, I would. This institution has gone on for hundreds and thousands of years. It’s like if you know that you’re going to die, you won’t stop living. Of course, the times are changing, even in the past people didn’t get married."
 

Arbaaz is now with model Giorgia Andriani, and Malaika is with Arjun Kapoor.
