Yesterday, the 66th Filmfare awards took place, and late actor Irrfan Khan won the Best Actor's award for Angrezi Medium as well as he was honoured with Lifetime Achievement.

Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan was there at the ceremony to receive the awards on behalf of his father. Last night it was Ayushmann Khurrana who gave the award. Babil took to his Instagram account to share pictures with Jaideep Ahlawat.

Babil has quite a resemblance with his father, Irrfan Khan, and he is all set to start his career in the film world. He looked handsome in a short kurta, wide-legged pants and jacket yesterday night.

Babil shared glimpses of him getting ready for the award night; he also posted a picture with his mom. Ayuhsmann Khurrana, who presented the award last night, got emotional and penned down a heartfelt poem.

He wrote, "We artistes are a unique species. We have our vulnerabilities and imaginations and theories. We rely on observations and experiences. We live and die a thousand deaths on the celluloid or on stage. But the power of those performances makes us immortal."

Babil has puffy eyes and some journalists asked him whether he was high last night. He took to his Instagram stories and wrote, "Well Done Guys. Great Inquisitive Research That You Have Conducted Because i have been pure natural since i left universiy. that my natural face. thank you for that. i will use that look and make millions in bollywood."
