Abhishek Bachchan once recalled an episode when a woman slapped him outside a cinema hall for embarrassing his family's name.
 

Long long ago, Abhishek Bachchan had once said a woman slapped him outside a cinema hall for embarrassing his family's name. Abhishek, who made his debut in filmmaker JP Dutta's Refugee in 2000 with Kareena Kapoor, has faced troll and negative comments on his films.
 

After many box-office failures, Abhishek was tagged as a “flop actor” after delivering 11 flop films in a row. Not just that, Abhishek has always been criticised for hiding under the wings of his famous father Amitabh Bachchan and wife, Aishwarya Rai.
 

He has also been trolled and questioned on social media because of the same reason. In an interview at Jagran Film Summit, Abhishek remembered when a woman slapped him outside a cinema hall for embarrassing his family's name.

 "It was a tough time. I once went to Gaiety Galaxy to see how my film (Shararat) was doing; a lady came out and slapped me and said you're embarrassing your family's name, stop acting. Thankfully, I'm able to laugh about it today, but at that point, it was not a very good feeling," he said.
 

Abhishek was recently in the news as he suffered a freak accident on the sets of his upcoming film in Chennai, took to Instagram to share a health update.
