The war of words between the Ranaut sisters and the Bhatt family has been grabbing headlines. This Ranauts-Bhatts saga doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli have often taken potshots at Alia, criticising her acting skills and calling her a member of the ‘nepo-gang’.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana said she told Alia over a phonecall to “have a voice of her own” and accused her of being Karan Johar’s “puppet”.

“I told her if she is only focusing on earning bucks and does not raise a voice, then her success has no value... Hope she understands the true meaning of success and her responsibilities; nepo gang’s life is simply restricted to give and take favours. Hope she rises above that,” she said.

Alia's mom Soni Razdan once lashed out at Kangana for attacking the daughter of the man who had launched her in the first place.

Sister of Kangana, Rangoli Chandel’s tweet went viral. "He threw chappal on her!'' Rangoli claimed in her latest tweet, referring to veteran director Mahesh Bhatt and sister Kangana.

In a series of fresh tweets on the micro-blogging website, Rangoli accused Mahesh of throwing ''chappal'' at 19-year-old Kangana during the screening of Woh Lamhe in 2006 and sent her home.

She also said, it wasn't Mahesh Bhatt but Anurag Basu, who gave Kangana a break and claimed that when Kangana refused to do a film titled Dhokha for him, an upset Mahesh Bhatt not only shouted at her but also threw a chappal at her.

She also said that Kangana is surviving in the film industry only due to her talent while others are relying on their sugar daddies. Looking at the tweets and replies, netizens claimed that it probably was Kangana tweeting from Rangoli's account.

However, Alia, never gave a response to Kangana. “I do not have that ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really, really respect her for that. Maybe in a way she is right. Sometimes we do hold back, or maybe we think that ‘kyu khamakha bolne jayein (why should we speak uselessly). My dad always says there are already so many opinions in the world, the world can do with one less opinion. So I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. Kudos to her, she genuinely speaks very well,” she had said.
