It's Balakrishna's time to shine. He's in top form with back-to-back hits. His energy is even higher after receiving the Padma Bhushan award. Among senior heroes, only Balakrishna enjoys this level of success.

'Daaku Maharaj', starring Balakrishna, was a Sankranti release. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the film features Pragya Jaiswal and Urvashi Rautela as the female leads, with Shraddha Srinath in a key role. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist. Reviews suggest a strong first half but an average second half. The film had a good opening, reportedly the highest in Balakrishna's career.

22 days after its release, the film's theatrical run is almost over. It's set for an OTT release on February 9th. Reports indicate a total share collection of around 90 crore rupees. The team has declared the film a break-even success in all regions.

Some claim the film collected 160-170 crore rupees. However, trade analysts suggest the actual share is limited to 65 crore rupees. Whether 'Daaku Maharaj' truly broke even is debatable. Regardless, the team appears content.

Balakrishna is currently busy filming 'Akhanda 2', the sequel to 'Akhanda'. Following this, he has another project lined up with director Gopichand Malineni.
