Arbaaz, Sohail Khan, his son Nirvaan Khan booked for avoiding quarantine protocols

 A complaint against actors Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Sohail's son Nirvaan Khan were lodged by the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) for not following quarantine rules.

According to BMC, three of them returned from UAE on December 25, and as per the Covid-19 rules, they were supposed to go on a seven-day institutional quarantine. Officials said that the actors confirmed they were staying at the Taj Lands End, Bandra West, for seven days but the civic body found out they cancelled the hotel reservation on December 26 and went home.

An FIR has been lodged at Khar Police Station against them under Epidemic Act, 1897 and Disaster Management Act, 2005.

This is the first time BMC has involved in lodging an FIR on the passengers for violating the Covid rules.

Sohail said that he and Arbaaz have arrived on December 25, but Nirvaan landed on 30th from UAE. They tested negative at the airport, which made them decide to head back home.

Some unknown source gave the information about the Khans skipping quarantine protocols, after which the BMC inquired. Now, they have asked the three of them to stay at Taj Hotels for 14-days. Then, they will undergo Covid-19 test after seven days, and if the result is negative, they can head back home, as per the Medical official.
