Here's the latest update on Akshay Kumar's horror-comedy, Bhooth Bangla. The makers have started advance bookings from Tuesday, and this news has got fans really excited.

The team is holding paid previews for Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla on April 16, just a day before its release. Advance bookings for these special shows have also begun. These shows will run in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Kolkata, starting after 9 PM.

Bhooth Bangla Gets Censor Certificate

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Bhooth Bangla a U/A 16+ certificate. However, the board asked for a few changes. They requested replacing an obscene word at the 26-minute mark and changing some other abusive words around the one-hour mark. The board also asked to remove a word from the subtitles at the end of the movie.

After getting the censor certificate, the film's final runtime is 174 minutes and 57 seconds, which is about 2 hours and 55 minutes. Following the cuts, the movie is now 10 minutes shorter than its original length.

Director Priyadarshan's film Bhooth Bangla features Akshay Kumar in the lead, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Rajesh Sharma, and Jisshu Sengupta. Akshay Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor have produced the film under the Balaji Motion Pictures and Cape of Good Films banners. The movie, made on a budget of around ₹120 crore, will hit theatres on April 17.
