Shoaib Akhtar announced his retirement from international cricket in 2011. He has since launched his YouTube channel where he regularly posts his videos on cricket reactions. India and Pakistan always engage in verbal battles, especially on the sensitive issue surrounding Kashmir.

According to some recent reports, Akhtar’s old and scathing comments against India and Kashmir has stirred fresh controversy. His ancient interaction with Samaa TV has gone viral, where he says, “It is written in our scriptures that Ghazwa e Hind will take place. The river in Attock will be coloured red twice with blood. Forces from Afghanistan will reach till Attock. After that forces will rise from Shamal Mashriq, different contingents will arrive from Uzbekistan, etc. This refers to Khorasan, a historical region which extended till Lahore.”
