Former champion Kolkata Knight Riders was off to a winning start to its Indian Premier League 2021 campaign. It trumped fellow former champion Sunrisers Hyderabad by ten wickets at the MA Chidambaram (Chepauk) Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.With this win, KKR registered its tenth win in the opening game of the 14 seasons so far. Also, it was its 100th win in the tournament, thus becoming the third side after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians to do so.
