The 2021 Indian Premier League would kick-start from Friday. Chennai Super Kings would eye its fourth title. MS Dhoni would be leading the side for the record 12th time, while he is the longest-reigning skipper of the tournament, as he is also eyeing some personal feats.

He could also become the first wicketkeeper-batsman to do so, provided Royal Challengers Bangalore's AB de Villiers (4,849) doesn't get there first.

200 IPL games as skipperDhoni has so far played 204 games in the tournament. Meanwhile, 188 of them happen to be as the captain. Since he would be leading the side entirely in 2021, 12 more games would allow him to play his 200th game as the skipper, which would be a first in the IPL.
