It was then Shubman Gill (57 runs of 45 balls) and skipper Eoin Morgan’s (40 runs of 25 balls) 81-run partnership that gave KKR the stability they required in the middle. They were off to a decent start and Mandeep Singh (66 runs of 56 balls) along with Chris Gayle (51 runs of 29 balls) took KKR bowlers in for a ride as they made a 100-run stand between them. This brought an easy win in KXIP favour who won the match by eight wickets.
