Prasidh Krishna is one of the newest pace sensations of India. Having made his debut against England in the ongoing One-Day Internationals, he has made a heavy impact. While he eyes prolonged success with the side, he still feels there is room for improvement.

New Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna is nailing it with Team India, thanks to his productive pace bowling. Having made his debut in the ongoing One-Day Internationals against England, he has so far claimed the most wickets (6) in just two games.

Consequently, he is eyeing a prolonged success with the side, while he is also aiming for a place in the Twenty20 side, as he wishes to be in the 2021 ICC World T20, set to be held in India. Meanwhile, he feels that improving his performance with the new ball would aid his career.

"Personally, I would like to start better. I want to improve on how I have been starting, bowling with the new ball. All the runs that I gave away today were bad balls bowled by myself. So, I would go back and work on it," Krishna said after the second ODI on Friday, reports IANS.

However, Krishna admitted that India did not bowl to its full potential in the second game against England, which India lost by six wickets. While the Indian bowlers were slapped all over the park, Krishna still managed to finish with the best figures of 258.

"We could have bowled better, not denying the fact. But, we need to give credit to them for the way they played. Yeah, it was an onslaught. We got hit. In white-ball cricket, with four outside the circle, between 11-40 overs, this is bound to happen. I know we are going to bounce back stronger. In the same situation last game, we did come back and had a great result. Our execution could have been better. I am talking about myself alone. We did make mistakes," concluded Krishna.
