India registers some fastest and top ones
- India managed to score 50 runs within the fourth over, which was its fastest in the format to date.
- India managed 82/2 in the Powerplay (six overs), which happened to be the highest PP total in the tournament this year, besides being India's highest in the format to date. Overall, it is the third highest in the competition to date, with the highest being 91/1 by the Netherlands against Ireland.
- KL Rahul scored an 18-ball half-century, the third joint-fastest in the tournament, along with Glenn Maxwell in 2014 after Stephan Myburgh (17) and Yuvraj Singh (12).
- India registered its fastest win in the tournament, with 81 balls to spare, while the overall fastest is by Sri Lanka (90) against the Netherlands in 2014.
