There are numerous Indian cricketers who are veterans in today's date, but are yet to call time on their illustrious career, owing to the belief that they could still contribute. Cricketers like Harbhajan Singh and Dinesh Karthik have been associated with Indian cricket for long enough.

India has produced countless top cricketers to date, who have gone one to represent the side at the international level. Some of the top names have confined themselves only to the domestic circuit, but are considered legends.

Nonetheless, no matter how great these cricketers are and how long they play, there would be a point when they have to call time on their career. On the same note, we take a look at such Indian cricketers, who are likely to call it a day in 2021.

Stuart Binny: Now, he might be a surprise player on this list, but it is to be noted that he is 36 years old. Also, the all-rounder is barely in contention for making a comeback to the international circuit. It was since 2015 when his career took a downward spiral, as he failed to play a single game in the 2015 ICC World Cup, while after Evin Lewis hammered him for five sies in an over, in 2016, it turned out to be the end of the road for him, as he is not associated with any team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) either.

Kedar Jadhav: He might be another wonderment name on this list, but the all-rounder is actually a veteran. Aged 35, he has played over 80 international matches, all in the limited-overs. Although he continues to be an impactful bowler, his batting has taken a toll. He is not a regular for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL, while he seems far away from being in the contention for Team India. Thus, don't be surprised if he actually decides to hang up his boots this year.

Amit Mishra: The ones who have followed Indian cricket for long enough must be aware of the accolades Amit Mishra holds for Team India. While the leg-spinner continues to make an impact in the domestic circuit, he does not seem to be in contention for Team India. Also, the arrival of Yuzvendra Chahal has dented his hopes of making a comeback to international cricket. Also, aged 38, he does not have enough cricket left in him. Although he might continue giving his services to Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL, he is likely to retire from international cricket by this year.

Harbhajan Singh: The veteran Indian off-spinner is long due for his retirement. While he can still contribute for CSK in the IPL, it is unlikely that he has a place in the Indian team. Aged 40, it is evident that he would not be able to contribute as decently as before, while teams might even think twice for having him in the domestic circuit or IPL. Thus, it's about time he calls time on his highly successful career.

Dinesh Karthik: The veteran wicketkeeper-batsman has been a part of numerous success stories for Team India. Although aged 35, he still has some cricket left in him, which could be good enough at both domestic and international level. Nonetheless, the arrival of young wicketkeeper-batsman like KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant has thrown his place in disarray. While he could continue playing the IPL for now, there is hardly any chance he is coming back to international cricket, as retirement from the circuit is very much on the cards for the year.
