Considering the ongoing 2020-21 international cricketing calendar, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the Annual Player Contract for the senior women team. The contract is set to be awarded for the period of October 2020 to September 2021.

The contracts are divided into three categories. It consists of Grade A (₹50 lakh), Grade B (₹30 lakh) and Grade C (₹10 lakh).

As for Grade A, it consists of three of the senior players. Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Poonam Yadav are the only ones who rule the category.

Considering Grade B, it consists of ten women. Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Deepti Sharma, Punam Raut, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Shafali Verma, Radha Yadav, Shikha Pandey, Taniya Bhatia and Jemimah Rodrigues are the ones who retain the spot.

Meanwhile, in Grade C, there are six women. While Mansi Joshi, Arundhati Reddy, Pooja Vastrakar, Harleen Deol and Priya Punia continue to stay in the grade, Richa Ghosh happens to be the latest addition in the same.

However, spinner Ekta Bisht happened to be a notable omission from the contract.
