As of now, the International Cricket Council has not announced the playing conditions of the same, as to what would happen in case the match ends in a draw, tie, or is washed out. "Since this is not another bilateral series Test match, we need to know about the playing conditions. There are three basic pointers that we need to know," said an official from the Board of Control for Cricket in India to PTI.

"What happens in case of a draw, tie or an eventual wash-out without at least one innings of both teams not being completed. The ICC will be publishing the Playing Conditions in the coming days. We can't put a date, but I believe they will send it soon," he added.

Meanwhile, upon arrival in London, Team India would quickly move to Southampton, where the team would quarantine during the England-New Zealand Test at the same venue. However, the ICC is to come up with the announcement on whether it would be a hard or soft quarantine, as a soft quarantine would allow them to train at the venue too.
