Aditya Birla Group chairman Kumara Mangalam Birla and Vedanta Group's Anil Agarwal are now in the top 5 list. Azim Premji & family, the founder-chairman of Wipro topped the 2020 list, while Shiv Nadar, founder-chairman of HCL technologies is ranked second; followed by Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries at the third spot.

Hurun India MD and Chief Researcher Anas Rahman Junaid said, "Binny Bansal is the first philanthropist under the age of 40 to enter the philanthropy list. I hope this will inspire more young wealth creators to not only donate but also to speak more about their donations."
