The new S Class promises to be quieter than the earlier. The additional, fixed quarterlights in the C-pillars have thicker laminated glass, as they are in close proximity to the heads of rear passengers. For the first time, passengers in the rear of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will have the benefit of an automatic belt extender. According to Autocar India, in India, the new Mercedes-Benz S Class will only be launched sometime in the second half of 2021, and Mercedes-Benz India is expected to introduce the standard S500 in our market first.
