Speaking at the inauguration of the National Day of Yoga in Dehradun, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he believes that Yoga will unite the world and the world will follow the footsteps of India.
He continued by saying Yoga will grow harmony and fraternity together and bring a healthier lifestyle.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was speaking to a 50,000 crowd that took part in the National Yoga day at the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.
The National Yoga day was also celebrated in Kerala under the leadership of CM Pinarayi Vijayan at Thiruvananthapuram. Pinarayi Vijayan said Yoga is not a religious act and should not be hijacked by anyone.
