Yo Yo Honey Singh was in the news post his wife Shalini Talwar accused and filed an FIR for alleged domestic, physical, mental, and financial harassment against the rapper. Days after the allegation, the singer finally broke his silence on the matter.

Yo Yo Honey Singh took to his Instagram account and denied all the allegations against him and his family. The rapper called the allegation 'false and malicious'. Honey Singh also stated that he is deeply pained and distressed by them.

Honey Singh stated that he had never issued a public statement before, even though he had been subject to controversy. Still, he sees no merit in maintaining silence this time as some allegations have been posted on his old parents and younger sister, who have stood by him during some difficult and trying times.

In his statement, Honey Singh said that he has been associated with the industry for over 15 years and has worked with many reputed artists. Everyone is aware of his relationship with his wife in general. He even called her an integral part of his crew.

Shalini Talwar has reportedly sought a Rs 10 crore compensation under the Protection Of Women from Domestic Violence Act, stating that she felt like a "farm animal...being treated cruelly," as per a report in PTI.
