Yash to join KGF Chapter 2 sets soon, film to be wrapped up by month end

Yash is all set to resume the shooting of KGF: Chapter 2 on October 8. Executive producer Karthik Gowda has revealed that the film will be wrapped up by the end of this month and proceed towards release.

Bengaluru: Rocking Star Yash is all set to resume the shooting of KGF: Chapter 2 from October 8 onwards in Bengaluru.

Though the shooting resumed on August 26, Yash did not join the team. The makers shot some important sequences with actors Prakash Rai, Malavika Avinash and the rest of the team.

The creative executive producer Karthik Gowda of Hombale Films took to Twitter to share the same and added that the entire film will be wrapped up by the end of October.

 After wrapping up the film's shoot, the team will go ahead with the film's post-production and the release plans.

Earlier in August, the filmmakers had said that only 24 days of shooting were remaining, which would be completed before October.

However, actor Sanjay Dutt, who plays a crucial role in the film, announced in August that he will be taking a short break from work to focus on medical treatment. This announcement had increased the uncertainty surrounding the film’s completion release.

Earlier, KGF: Chapter 2 was slated to hit the theatres on October 23 across the globe. But, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the film's release had to be postponed.

The final schedule is expected to go on for about 20 days at a set in Bengaluru after which the post-production and release plans will take place.
