Earlier news suggested that CIA is likely to have a political angle as it features a communist symbol on the US national flag. So. it will be, interesting to see how well a communist ideology works for Dulquer in his journey to find his lover in the US, which is a capitalist nation. 

CIA is majorly shot in the US and near the Mexican border.

According to reports, Karthika Muralidharan, the daughter of cinematographer CK Muralidharan, has been paired opposite Dulquer. The film also features Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph and John Vijay in supporting roles. Gopi Sunder has been roped in to compose the music.

CIA is written by Shibin Francis and jointly produced by director Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, under the banner of Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.
