Malayalam actress Rekha Mohan found dead in her apartment
She shot to fame for her roles in Mammootty's Udyanapalakan and Yatramozhi.
The police have launched an investigation into her death. The incident came to light after Rekha's husband, who is in Dubai, reportedly requested the security personnel to check the apartment as he was unable to contact her.
A video was shot and posted on youtube where we can see Rekha's lifeless body leaning on a dinning table in a hall.
The actress' body has been kept at the medical college in Thrissur, and Viyyur police have registered a case.
Last week a popular actress Kollywood actress Sabarna Anand aka Suguna was found dead at her residence in Semmathamman Nagar in Chennai.
It is understood that the decomposed body of the 29-year-old, suspected to have died three days ago, was found on November 11.
The Police have revealed that she had left a suicide note, in which she wrote about her personal problems.
