The movie Kathakali, by Sijo Kannanaikkal, revolves around the life of an orphan man, who tries to find an identity of his own in the society.
The Censor Board wants the chop of the climax scene where the lead Dasan removes his Kathakali attire and walks towards the Bharathapuzha river as a symbolic mark of protest against the society.
The filmmakers have moved the Kerala High Court in the matter. In the meanwhile, they have also released a hilarious video trolling the functioning of Censor Board.
