Why are Bollywood heroes shunning ‘Nagin’ Mouni Roy

Mouni has been offered the role of the female lead in Bejoy Nambiar's upcoming Bollywood flick, which is a remake of the Tamil movie Agni Nachathiram, directed by Mani Ratnam.

Mouni, however, was in for a shock when the Masan-famed Vicky Koushal refused to act opposite her. This is because Vicky does not want to be cast opposite a female lead who had acted in serials.

Sources also reveal that two other heroes too have refused to act opposite Mouni, citing similar reasons.

This is bizarre considering how many actors have made their way to the big screen through serials, advertisements and other small projects.

Mouni’s journey in the entertainment field has been quite challenging and interesting.

After the success of the serial Devon Ke Dev and sizzling performances in Jhalak Dikhlaja 7, Mouni was offered the lead role in the Ekta Kapoor's 67-episode Nagin.

Currently, the most sought-after actress on the small screen, the treatment being meted out to Mouni by her Bollywood male stars is surely unfair!
