Watch: John-Varun get into some serious action in 'Dishoom'

The action-packed Dishoom trailer will be shown across 550 PVR screens in multiple cities. The movie is a comeback of actor Akshaye Khanna, who remained absent from silver-screen for four years. 

In an Interview, producer Sajid Nadiadwala gushed over the trailer and said "The trailer of Dishoom is a big treat on the silver screen and we have tried to give that experience to a section of the audiences a little in advance,"  

There was a rumour that the film has a character based on one of India's most favourite cricketers, Virat Kohli. The India Today claims that Saqib Saleem, who will be seen playing the role in the film. Recently, the photo posted on Instagram of Saqib and Virat also went viral, which added more fuel to the rumours. 

Varun's brother Rohit Dhawan is the director of the movie and is slated to release their trailer on June 1.  Rohit said, "Dishoom is like a buddy-cop film and harps back to the genre of Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Andar Bahar and Bad Boys."

Varun Dhawan in an interview with PTI said "It was not easy to shoot action part. As I am new to all this. Through action, we are trying to push the boundaries and do something new." Jacqueline, who plays a negative role, said to PTI "Dishoom team has done some great job and that it could be made into a franchise because the storyline."

The makers have already released two posters ahead of trailer release one of the posters features John and Varun. Both are seen walking down a street with a Bulldog. John looked incredibly handsome with a lighted cigarette in his mouth, and Varun carried a lot of attitude in a formal avatar.

In another poster shows the lead actress Jacqueline Fernandes along with John and Varun.
