Amulya was just 23 and at peak of her film career when she got married. Jagadish is an MBA graduate from London, who's the son of GH Ramachandra, former Corporator of Rajarajeshwarinagar.
A few months later, the couple when to New Zealand for their honeymoon. In an interview, the couple revealed their pet names for each other. “I call him J, Jags and Jaggi,” said Amulya. As for J, he calls wifey dear Moulya.
Amulya is best known for her roles in the commercially successful films Chaitrada Chandrama, Naanu Nanna Kanasu and Shravani Subramanya.
