There is something about actor Vijay Babu and short films, as he has repeatedly been seen being part of such projects that have a strong message to convey. After essaying characters that leave a mark in Signal, Kalpitham and Periods, it looks like the actor-producer is at it again with Canvas this time.
The movie is written and directed by Nishant Pillai. Canvas is about a heartwarming relationship between a man and a woman. It also delves deep into how domestic violence has a negative impact on kids and also turns their lives topsy-turvy.
The movie also features, Anjali Nair and NP Nisa play the main roles in the film. Anoop V Shylaja has handled the cinematography whereas the editing is done by Vishnu Venugopal. The background score is set by Amritesh Vijayan and Libin Joseph. Thushara Lalu, Sajith Yussuf, Nandakumar and Praghosh have produced this short film under the banner of Grammam Dot Com Productions.
