Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya were in Melbourne to attend the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2017. The superstar hoisted the Indian flag at the ongoing event, making her the first woman to do so.

Both mother-daughter duo were dressed in ethnic Indian outfits. Their outfits were custom-made by Manish Malhotra. While Aishwarya opted for a sea green Indian outfit, Aaradhya looked super cute in a white lehenga.

One of the videos taken by a fan from outside Aishwarya's hotel is going viral. In the video, she is seen chit-chatting with a four-year-old girl. From the video, we can see the girl is all mesmerised by Aishwarya's aura and her dress. The actress will also be seen clicking selfies with her fans and sharing warm hugs.

Meanwhile, Konkona Sen Sharma's Lipstick Under My Burkha was named the Best Film while she won the best actress award. Sushant Singh Rajput got the Best Actor award for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. Nitesh Tiwari won the Best Director award for Dangal.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) began on August 10 and will continue till August 22.
