Another movie from the sons of the mega family, Varun Tej’s ‘Fida’ is due to release today. Varun Tej is the only son of Chiranjeevi’s brother Nagababu. The whole unit of ‘Fida’, hero Varun Tej, producer, ‘Dil’ Raju and director Shekhar Kammula visited Vijayawada to receive the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga.

The film unit attended a press conference after their temple visit where they were questioned on various topics, primary being the drug scam. Producer Dil Raju spoke to the media about the controversies and his observations. Some of his comments were:

• Media has a lot more information than us
• The mistake of ten members in the industry is not applicable to the whole unit
• People watch films for entertainment, and none go on the wrong path after watching them
• Only through media one can identify if it is the truth or not
• Sometimes it’s very disheartening to see some issues in the social media
• We will campaign on all issues for the good of the people, not only drugs.
