The reviews for Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivii are in, and fans appreciate Kangana Ranaut's craft to nail the role of former CM J Jayalalithaa.

Cast: Kangana Ranaut, Arvind Swami, Nassar Bhagyashree, Raj Arjun and Poorna.

Kangana Ranaut calls Thalaivii the best film of her career; with the precision and perfection, she has delivered on-screen, it's safe to say that she nailed the role of former CM of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. The story depicts the journey of Jayalalithaa and her struggles. From making a mark as a versatile actress to leaving an everlasting impression in politics, the movie covers it all.

The film proceeds with the transformation of Jayalalithaa into Amma and how Jaya gets the only support of her reel-life hero  M G Ramchandran aka MGR (Arvind Swami). The rest of the story is about how she became Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, her rise and fall moments and more. The story also caters to Jayalalithaa's personal life beautifully. Her relationship with politics, changing bond with MGR and more.

In the second half of the movie, you will find yourself in the pool of questions about how will Jayalalithaa handle a significant change in her life that has come after becoming Tamil Nadu's CM. It's safe to say that Bollywood is getting the hang of making biopics. It's less of heroism and more of craft and originality. The storyline of the film is perfect and will keep you hooked.

The more you watch, the more you would like to know about Jayalalithaa's life. The story did miss out on a lot of other life elements of Jayalalithaa, but overall, it will make you equipped with her life story. The Twitter reviews of the film are in  and fans are demanding National Award for Kangana Ranaut.
