Superstar Vikram's daughter gets engaged

National Award-winning Vikram's daughter Akshita got engaged to entrepreneur Ranganathan of Cavin Kare in a low-key engagement.

The ceremony took place at a five-star hotel in Chennai on Sunday in front of family and close friends, including DMK Supremo Karunanidhi. 

A source close to the family said "It was a very private ceremony. The couple had known each other for a long time and got engaged with the approval of their parents. The union is scheduled to take place next year," 

Also, present on the event was filmmaker S. Shankar, who had worked with Vikram on two Tamil projects 'Anniyan' and 'I'.+
