
Bollywood superstar Sridevi Kapoor, considered by many to be one of the biggest names in Hindi cinema, has died after suffering a cardiac arrestin Dubai, her family told PTI on Sunday.
The shocking death of the beloved Indian star in her mid-fifties, who reportedly passed away while attending her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding in the emirate late Saturday night, prompted an outpour of grief among fans and fellow Bollywood actors.
According to recent reports, the actress' family (Kapoor Khandan) and her Bollywood friends were not with her when she took her last breath.

Even her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Khushi and Jhanvi Kapoor were also not with the legend.
Reportedly, after the grand Punjabi wedding, Boney Kapoor and Khushi returned to Mumbai, the news is that Sridevi stayed back in Dubai to be with her sister Srilatha.

When the news broke Boney Kapoor along with his brother Sanjay Kapoor went back to Dubai. Talking to Indian Express, Sanjay Kapoor said, "I just landed here, I was in Dubai and now I am flying back to Dubai. It happened roughly around 11.00-11.30. I don’t know more details yet."
On the work front, for Sridevi’s last film on celluloid, she was scheduled to appear in a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s film with Aanand L Rai, Zero.
