Sidharth Shukla's prayer meet: Family issues first statement, organise online meditation session for fans

Sidharth Shukla's fans will be able to join the virtual meditation for the late actor. Mother Rita Shukla and sisters Neetu and Preeti have specially arranged it for the fans.

The untimely demise of Sidharth Shukla took the entire nation by shock. The actor passed away due to a heart attack, and he was reportedly brought dead to Cooper Hospital. Now Sidharth Shukla's mother, Ritu Shukla and sisters Neetu and Preeti have arranged a special prayer meeting for the late actor and has also issued an official first statement.

Actor Karanvir Bohra took to his social media to share the details of the special prayer meet. Fans can join through the zoom link shared by the family. The special prayer meets for the actor will be held on Monday at 5 pm on September 6.

BK Yogini Didi will hold the mediation. Sister Shivani and the Brahma Kumaris will bless the late actor's soul. On Sunday, at Bigg Boss OTT, Karan Johar remembered Sidharth Shukla and paid tribute to the actor with his kind words. The contestants inside the house do not know about his demise.

Sidharth Shukla is survived by his mother and two sisters. His death left Shehnaaz Gill and the entire India shattered. The last rites of the actor were performed at the Oshiwara crematorium. Shehnaaz Gill looked inconsolable during his last ceremonies. She was completely pale and looked devastated.

Sidharth Shukla's family has also released an official statement. It reads, "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth's journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn't end here as he now resides in our hearts forever! Sidharth valued his privacy, hence we request you to allow our family the privacy to grieve," the statement read.

"A special Thank You to the Mumbai Police force for their sensitivity and compassion. They have been like a shield, protecting us and standing by us every minute of the day! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Om Shanti -The Shukla Family," it added. (sic)
