Shakira has released the video for the official FIFA 2026 song, which features football stars like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. The pop star is also set to co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show with Madonna and BTS.

Pop star Shakira has released the video of the official song of FIFA 2026 on Saturday, offering a glimpse into the high voltage football competition which includes stars like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The four-minute video opened with soccer stars including Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland taking the field to declare, "We are ready" for Shakira.

Shot in Miami and directed by Hannah Lux Davis, the video begins with Shakira standing at the top of Mexico City's iconic Angel of Independence before transitioning to scenes of her dancing in a desert landscape alongside a group of African children.

It was followed by the introduction of Burna Boy.

Shakira then steps into a soccer stadium alongside female dancers dressed in outfits representing flags from countries participating in the world cup.

The clip culminates with archival clips from past World Cup matches as Shakira shouts out some of the legends of the sport, including Diego Maradona, Paolo Maldini, Romario, Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Kaka and Lionel Messi, as well as this year's participating nations such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, the U.S., and the Netherlands.

The singer shared the song on her Instagram handle.

Shakira to Co-Headline FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show

Meanwhile, Shakira is set to co-headline the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show on July 19 at the New York-New Jersey Stadium.

She will perform alongside Madonna and BTS in what is being billed as a landmark live event.

The halftime show is being curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay and produced by Global Citizen.

The Instagram teaser gained more than 1 million likes and thousands of comments within hours of being shared.

'Dai Dai' audio, which was released on May 16, marks Shakira's latest association with football after the global success of her past tournament anthem, 'Waka Waka'.
