This isn’t the first time that the superstar has been detained. In 2009, King Khan was detained at Newark airport. The Raees actor had also been detained in 2012 at the New York airport for 2-3 hours. Talking about being detained, SRK had once said, "It just was very uncomfortable. To land up somewhere and getting stuck in an airport for 2-3 hours for no reason at all."
Hours after detention, the US envoy apologized "for the trouble".
