Sandalwood’s comedy star Bullet Prakash, who was admitted to a hospital after he reportedly suffered a liver infection, passed away  


Bengaluru: 44-year-old Sandalwood actor, comedian and BJP politician 'Bullet' Prakash passed away in a Bengaluru hospital today. According to reports, the popular actor was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Bengaluru on March 31. He was initially admitted due to gastric-related issues. However, the condition deteriorated a little as he reportedly had issues with his kidneys and liver.

Bullet Prakash underwent weight reduction surgery two years ago, post which he started facing health issues.

How he got Bullet in his name:

The actor earned the name 'Bullet' for his penchant for riding a Bullet. 

Sandalwood‘s Comedy King: 

Bullet Prakash is a known name in Sandalwood, sharing screen space with stars including Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, Shivarajkumar, Upendra and Sudeep Kiccha. He is a popular actor in Kannada cinema with over 325 films to his credit. Bullet Prakash joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2015.  

The actor participated in the second season of the Kannada version of popular reality television show Bigg Boss.
