Sandalwood drug case: Internal Security Division likely to summon Loose Mada Yogi, cricketer Aiyappa again

Internal Security Division police have now put two names, actor Loose Mada and cricketer NC Aiyappa under the scanner in connection with the drug cases as their names are doing rounds. Both were summoned on Saturday (September 19) and their phones were later seized.

Bengaluru: The drug probe is getting wider as reports state that the Internal Security Division also has interrogated actor Yogesh alias Loose Mada and cricketer NC Aiyappa.

After about three hours of grilling, the duo's phones were reportedly seized. Now once again, the two may be called for further interrogation as the police have reportedly found their links with a Kerala based resident who is a drug peddler.

It is reported that ADGP Bhaskar Rao recorded their statements in connection with the drug case.

The cops believe that the drug supply is not only connected to Sri Lanka but suspect a wider network spreading across to Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries.

Loose Mada's father Siddaraju who is also a film producer, claimed that his son is innocent and said his son has not spoken anything about the interrogation.
